Parishioner and professional musician, Dr Rodney Newton surveys the use of music in Christian worship, from earliest times to the present day, focussing on our Roman Catholic tradition. Those attending will be able to hear music of all kinds, from early Eastern chants right through to contemporary 'worship songs'
Rodney Newton has had a long and distinguished career as a professional musician. He has performed, composed, arranged and taught music in settings as diverse as the Royal Academy of Music, the English National Opera and the Band of the Coldstream Guards.
