How to find freedom in detention ? How can we let grace touch us in the depths of our hearts ? This film introduces us to the little-known prison environment, but above all to the personal experience of inmates who live a spiritual journey of peace and inner freedom behind bars.
Abstract: Virginie and Laurent are prison chaplains in the prison of Caen (north-west France). They run the Alpha course there, which allows people to discover God's love, to meet Jesus and to experience the power of the Holy Spirit. Through this film, we will discover the work of the Lord in the life of Gwenaël, a repeat offender who finds new life through a journey of faith and a support network of people around him.
